NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
Otis School District R-3
Otis School District R-3 announces an anticipated vacancy on its Board of Education due to the resignation of Board Member Chad Gross, effective May 12, 2026.
Pursuant to C.R.S. § 22-31-129, the Board of Education will appoint a qualified individual to fill the vacancy within sixty (60) days after the vacancy occurs.
To be eligible for appointment, a candidate must:
Be a registered elector of Otis School District R-3;
Have resided within the district boundaries for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to appointment; and
Not have been convicted of a sexual offense against a child.
Interested persons are invited to submit a letter of interest and brief résumé including:
Length of residency in the district
Relevant experience
Reasons for seeking appointment
Letters of Interest must be received no later than June 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. and may be submitted to:
