I am honored to introduce myself as the new Superintendent of Otis School District. My name is Monica Giffing, I bring with me 20 years of experience in education, a deep-rooted passion for agriculture, and a strong commitment to the values of small communities.
My journey in education has been guided by a dedication to fostering academic excellence, promoting personal growth, and building strong community connections. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of a supportive and engaging learning environment. With a background in agriculture, I have committed the majority of my career as an agricultural educator and FFA Advisor. I understand the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the vital role education plays in shaping our future leaders.
I look forward to working together with the community, staff, and students to create an environment where every student feels valued, are excited to come to school and are empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to strive to uphold the high standards of academic achievement, cultivate a culture of inclusivity, and ensure that our schools remain a safe and welcoming place for all.
