I am excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Otis Public Schools, and to rejoin this great community. I hope that everyone is enjoying the first days of summer and that you and your children are looking forward to beginning a new school year together in August. I am excited to get started, and cannot wait to begin working with this community.
I come to this district with 8 years of educational experience in Texas and Colorado. Most recently, I have been an Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Wray Schools, but I am first and foremost a father and husband. This August, my son Kooper will be attending Preschool. My two daughters, three-year-old Kendal and my one-and-a-half-year-old Kolby, will be at home learning the important lessons of life from the best teacher I have ever met, my wife Kelcey.
I was born and raised in Otis, and I am very proud to have the opportunity to move back and work in the district that gave me so many great memories. I am eager to meet with staff, parents, and students to discuss the upcoming school year and all that we hope to accomplish together.
To our students, I look forward to meeting you all. I hope that you are excited for this coming school year and that you are able to enjoy your summer break. It is going to be a fun year learning together. If you are around the school at all this summer, please stop by and say hello!
